Nice old hotel. Upgraded free of charge as hotel was very quiet so was very happy. Food lovely. Only down side the public loos near bar smelt really bad

Visited again on a special deal What a great place, food and drinks perfect, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and cosy. The grounds and the deer park are lovely and you can feed the deer by hand. Absolutely Excellent!
Well worth visiting. Very nice grounds and Park with deer. Good place for families with young children. Been to my Cousins funeral reception here for gathering with my family. Whitworth Hall has a pleasant atmosphere. It is well worth a visit for a meal with someone special or if you are travelling up to North East for a relaxing weekend break. The Hotel also has rooms available for business meetings or conferences.
